The AskFM account uses the name Kim Min Jung, which is the real name of the AESPA personnel.
What makes netizens even more sure that the account belongs to Winter before he debuted, because both of them were born in 2001 in Yangsan City, Gyeongsang Province.
The posts on the AskFM account immediately became the spotlight, because he wrote some inappropriate comments, such as sexual comments against Kai EXO.
When asked, "Did you watch EXO's Showtime?" the account replied, “I watched it. And I always look forward to when Kai opens up," along with a picture that reads, "Your eyes look perverted".
The screenshot from the AskFM account then spread on the internet and became a hot conversation among Korean netizens. Some netizens later accused Winter of being a problem child when he was in junior high school.
Now a Twitter user with the account @gimminj53119610 appears and claims to be Kim Min Jung, the owner of the AskFM account.
He wrote, “Hello, I'm Kim Min Jung from Yangsan Joongang Middle School. I saw a screenshot of my AskFM account and wanted to clarify. Winter and I were both born in 2001 but I didn't know him at all. I don't know who opened my AskFM account and spread it on the internet, but I'm very offended by what happened," he wrote.
When asked to prove his statement, Kim Min Jung uploaded a photo of the Yangsan Joongang Middle School yearbook and his resident card.
He also wrote a new statement, "Hi again, this is Kim Min Jung from Yangsan Joongang Middle School. I've read all the tweets, forum posts, and comments about my AskFM. I feel displeased that my personal information, as well as that of my friends, is now on the internet. I will take legal action and sue for defamation.”
“Please stop spreading the picture of my resident ID that I shared for the purpose of verifying that I am indeed Kim Min Jung. If you have shared the photo anywhere, please delete it. I honestly don't want to be bothered anymore and wish the same for the aespa members. Winter and I are both victims," he wrote. (www.kpopchart.net)
